Winter Alpine Pastures.
Zooming out of the window to photograph this alpage with its high summer chalets nearly buried by snow, was a good idea this morning. Later I slipped in the stairwell and ended up having x-rays by lunchtime. I have no break, thankfully, but a nasty sprain of my foot. So lots of ski touring plans are now out of the window. I shall only be able to watch others leaving their tracks in the snow as you can see behind the chalets in the photo. Is "someone" trying to tell me something about doing less, putting my feet up?
I cannot believe the amount of appreciation for yesterday's moon "landing" shot. It is straight from the camera with just a bit of sharpening, a very lucky moment. Thank you to all.
