Wound up in Wexford

Tidier desk

I had a bit of spare office time at work today, so I managed to clear the mess on the floor by my office desk.  Amongst it were a few of the freebies we get these days.  There was a time when drug companies gave generous gifts and dinners - in a (not totally unsuccessful) attempt to bribe us into prescribing the latest drug.

Nowadays, we get plenty of pens and post-it pads, and an occasional 1 or 2 Gb memory stick - there's one on my desk cunningly disguised as a lanyard, and other as a little plastic doctor.  There's also a tourniquet (still wrapped) and some mints.

Specially for bivbov, you can also see my reading glasses, which hang around my neck from a string when not needed for close work.

There's still a bit of work to do to tidy the back of the desk, but I think I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
