West by South West Wind?

... or is it the other way round - North by North East? I had planned to take some amazing blips of the Forth Road Bridge and the boats bouncing around on a very rough stretch of water. There was also a wonderful moment when there were rays of sunlight bursting through the clouds. Slight problem with this plan was that it was very windy - especially when I was driving over the bridge - and by then I just wanted to head home. I did keep wondering how structurally sound the bridge was and did decide that shutting my eyes wasn't the best approach - just the usual thoughts I have when driving across the bridge. So - no blips of or from the Forth Road Bridge - just a blip from the car of a weather vane when I stopped to buy milk.
