Book Club

A group of friends meet once a month to discuss a book - this month's book was Kate Atkinson Life after Life. Some liked it a lot others were irritated. We had a good discussion and it always best when there are differing views. This month it was my turn to host the meeting. We each do a meal and have a good natter about the book, children, grandchildren, climate change politics and anything else we are getting hot under the collar about!!  Free schools came in for attack as there are a few retired teachers amongst us!
I enjoyed the book a lot and it made me laugh out loud in places.
