Sad to see it go

My Mum worked on this piece of embroidery many many years ago - sadly she never finished it.  She passed away nearly ten years ago and it has been lying in a box in our loft ever since.  After so long, it's unlikely that anyone here is going to take it up and complete it.  So, sad as it may seem, it's probably the time to say goodbye.  We found a friend who will take the embroidery hoops and unused skeins, and hopefully they will make good use of it.  Sadly you can't hold onto everything.  :(
