The eyes have it

This was going to be pattern number 4, but it needs a bit more work to play down the morbid and accentuate the pretty. So, I'm making it a cheeky entry into Mono Monday with the theme entrances and exits. The skull is full of holes, apart from the obvious, these allow the passage of nerves, blood vessels, the sinus cavities, in addition to cleaning the air that we breathe, help to lighten the skull. Hopefully, it's fairly obvious that this was once a monkey....large forward facing eyes, fruit eating teeth.....but it was a monkey with toothache, two of his lower incisors are fused and the bone eroded.
