Day in the Country

I was aksed if I would house sit today because it was the husbands funeral and they were worried that someone my burgle the house if left unattended. They live in a rural area and there have been a number of burgles lately.

It was a long day and I didn't get home until after dark. They breed and train horses for harness racing. I would have like to have seen all the other horses but didn't want to leave the house unattended.

They had a beautiful little dog called Peppy.. she was so cute and would follow me all over the place and loved being cuddled. You can see her in this collage. I am not a great lover of dogs as I have never had one.. but this one I could have taken home with me.

At the top of the collage is mummy and baby. The copper coloured one I think is in fowl. They were in paddocks near the house. I couldn't get to close as they have electric fences around them. 

This is blip is going up late as I got home last night.. the wake went on much longer than anyone expected.
