The Tilikum Crossing in the background is a yet to be opened pedestrian and transit bridge , here seen through my lens, when under construction. This was on a rainy day from the Ross Island Bridge about fifteen months ago.. There are a lot of bridges in Portland. The bridge is complete and going through those pesky safety checks. It is a good 21st century item for the town. Like the $45 million dollar tram and the half dozen plus high rise condos all within shouting distance, that were not there ten years ago. I always get excited about the tram when I talk about it. Here is a view of the Tilikum under construction, taken from the tram, that also includes downtown Portland after a slight snowstorm.
