A Re Store Surprise!

I went to the Re Store to find some lumber for the box-making class I signed up for. I wasn't expecting to see these!

I found a piece of mahogany that looked like firewood, but after I ran it through the table saw and planer it looks beautiful. It was only $2, and it's enough for the box sides. Now I need to a matching (or contrasting) piece for the top.

I'd better take Cynthia to choose the top.
