Jock's last picture

You've seen Auld Jock blipped before, but today he hardly moved - he was standing by this drinker most of the day. Out with the camera, I took this pic of him which, as it turns out is the last time he will ever grace a shot. At night he had gone back to the house. Had to go out and pick Johanna up from - ironically - a hen night in Aberdeen and it was 3am on Sunday by the time we were home. It was already light, many birds sang, but in hindsight no cock crowed. So being woken up with "Big Jock is dead" didn't come as a surprise. Sad to lose him but he's been a great flock leader and will be missed. Thank you Big Jock.
