SPECIAL FRIENDS FOR A SPECIAL DAY!

Today is a special day in more ways than one - it is my 800th consecutive blip and guess what - I was out for coffee with friends.   "Not again?" I hear you cry - but today I had arranged to meet our lovely hairdresser, Lisa, and her gorgeous sister, mother - I think you will agree with me that they do look more like sisters rather than mother and daughter!

I had only spoken to Judy briefly before today, so it was a real pleasure to meet her properly - in fact, we sat and chatted for so long that the waitress in Costa thought we had taken root!! 

Some years ago, I had a "little word" with God and told Him that I couldn’t really afford to keep going out for coffee and He very plainly told me that if I continued going out to meet people, HE would provide the means.  


Well, two hours, copious cups of tea and coffee and cakes later we parted company but not before we had agreed we would definitely meet again - and very soon.  All thanks are due to Judy, whose treat it was today - so she was "the means" He provided today!

Sometimes you meet someone and you just "click" - I've got a feeling that Judy and me are going to be good friends!
