The Dinosaur's Tooth
When my grandson is a little older I'll take him down here and tell him that this 50 feet high column of sandstone is a Dinosaurs Tooth. That'll scare him rigid!!! Then I can buy him ice-cream and sweets to calm him down. My grandpop used to show me a tin of 'shark's teeth' and white scars on his head and legs and tell me he was attacked by sharks when he was swimming off Featherbed Rocks about a mile from here. I believed him for years. (It was a mining accident at Vane Tempest Colliery that caused his injuries)
