Art and Cake ❤️

Went for a run... And a cycle... Then totally cancelled out all that good work by gorging myself on art and cake at The Mount Nelson :)

The Mount Nelson originally opened in 1899 and is as famed for its modern art as it is for the afternoon teas! My favourite piece I found hiding in the gardens was 'Dialogue for Peace' by Willie Bester. This photo does it no justice... The chair on the right is made from guns and is facing the high chair. Sunk into the table itself is a haunting range of childrens shoes...
