Church near Danterciepes

I have blipped this church before.  It is really small and cute and looks lovely just as you are joining the final chairlift before the col at Danterciepes above Val Gardena.  Having skied past it so many times,  Jane and I decided to walk the short distance to it.  We were surprised to find that it is only 11 years old according to the plaque above the door!

Today we went by coach to the Cinque Torri near Cortina and then skied back to Val Gardena via the amazing Hidden Valley run which is listed as one of the Sunday Times top ten best ski runs.  This is the fourth time I have skied it and it remains a favourite.  We skied a total of 24 km according to the lift pass website.
