Haysden Country Park

Haysden Country Park- - lots of tracks around lakes and rivers. The perfect location (its flat) for the new training programme - to be able to run 5km without stopping.  Those of you who know I do a lot of orienteering,  may be surprised to learn I can’t do this anyway but I confess I spend lot of time walking.   Week 1 Day 1  - run  for 1 minute and walk for 2 minutes, 8 times. Easy.  GPS watch says I did 3.5km.

Then I walked to the station (35 min walk -  ie leave the car at home) to catch the train to London to meet up with some former work colleagues for a glass of wine or two.  Total step count 16,245
