Gita

Another hidden gem quietly unearthed.
Went out to see Marc today - my violinist friend whom I'd met through my street photography a couple of years ago. We were catching up on the life events rocking our boats, talking about his music, how starting his career all over again is like a blank canvas etc... He introduced me to Gita. She just happened to be there in the Artigiano and he knew I'd be interested to meet her.
Gita is a photographer. She showed us some of her work and we shared the same view that taking a photograph is a journey. It starts long before you take the photgraph and lasts long after. At some point I decided to ask her to take a portrait of her and this caught her a bit off guard (being comfy in front of the camera is obviously a skill on its own).
So this is how the Gita journey happened.
We'll meet again.
