Stripes in the sand

I tried to make the most of the one day of good weather this week by heading to the beach.

I liked the way the tide was coming in over the sand and making stripes in this shot.

As I walked across the beach I spotted 3 swans and thought I'd creep near to them for some shots. No creeping required, as soon as they saw me they left the water and set off over the sand to meet me. They were friendly and walked right up to me but I had no food.

Baton down the hatches again as we're heading for another storm tomorrow
