Versatile.

Finished sorting through the last of the boxes in the back of the Landrover from parents house last night. Into 3 lots - Burn, Recycle,Bin. Came across a box of my school work from P7.My mother must have kept everything  !
Found this drawing of a cure it all machine. Looking back,  even at the age of 11 there really was no hope of me ever being anything but a farmer !
The vet here to blood test 5 of last years spring calves to check the BVD status of our herd. (Bovine Viral Diarrhoea )This is a fatal wasting disease with no cure. The Scottish Government have put an eradication scheme in place and we have to test the cattle every year. Any PI (persistently Infected ) cattle have to go to slaughter. So will be sitting with fingers crossed till we get the results back.
