family connections

I almost never go to Dublin. So what are the chances that whilst travelling there on the train I first hear from this earnest and beautiful young girl. She is my husband's cousin's granddaughter. She and her boyfriend are newly arrived in Dublin from their home in South Africa and are having visa problems so called their nearest family here - me - to see if I could help. 
We met up for a couple of hours and made a great connection. It made my (otherwise not so pleasant) visit to the city an absolute pleasure.
