According to The Economist, Nordic countries are the best places to be a working woman. It was Finland that was ranked to the first position in the  glass-ceiling index. The index combines data on higher education, labour-force participation, pay, child-care costs, maternity rights, business-school applications and representation in senior jobs.

In the picture is a working woman from the fifties; the statue was funded by Suomen Trikoo Oy textile company and it was sculptured by Essi Renvall.
