The old enemy

Today Newport RFC faced the old enemy, Cardiff RFC. 

With British and Irish cup call up to another club, Wales under 20's call ups and a massive injury list we haven't had it easy this season. To top that our head coach has resigned leaving the other coaches to try and stabilise a very rocky boat. As i have said before, this match was not going to be easy but it could be a bad as last weeks demolition. 

I won't bore you with the details but what an improvement, the attitude was better, the commitment was there and it was the best performance i have seen in a while, but alas, we still lost. But Cardiff had to work very hard for it and the spoils could of been ours. So with only a few games left we still need to improve, and improve we can.
