the beat goes on

The Kirkcudbright half-marathon and I'm glad that I was drumming, not running. Even so, it was thirsty work standing for 2 hours in the midday sun, banging my drum and ringing my bell. My forearms are burned.

Great fun, though, and we played well. I am looking forward to playing next on June 16th, when the Samba Sisters will be at Kirkconnel and Kelloholm Gala.
