another detail

Found myself here again today, around noon. I am posting this in part, because my other photos from today seem boring and I feel a little frustrated with the results. Some might ask what it is I find interesting about this wall. Maybe I love how it always looks different to me. Maybe in some strange way I find it a relief on an otherwise unsuccessful blip day. It's like an old friend or a comfortable pair of jeans, I guess. Perhaps I am coming back to the question brought forth by Madchickenwoman, "What is the difference between 'style' and 'habit'?"  (sorry I can't find the date of her post) Anyway, it's a fine line for me today and I still can't clearly say. The question is a curious one. I know part of me went to that wall today out of 'habit'. So was that laziness (I'm too tired to seek out another photo right now) or because I wanted the world to agree with me for just one simple moment? It's a great question and it fits my day.
