The Spring Melt

We are having unseasonably warm spring weather,
and it is to continue through the weekend.  The
snow is gone and now we are in a drabness of
early spring.  I am revisiting my small pond in
the midst of its spring melt.   You see lots of
debri and dirt left behind by the melting.  But
mostly you should notice my beloved Lake Superior
rock sinking into the melting ice.
