Leading Lines

This is my entry for the Wide Angle Wednesday Challenge - kindly hosted by Hobbs Run.  The challenge sounded pretty straightforward when I read it, but getting the result I wanted wasn't;   all the same I'm looking at things differently and I gave the shutter release a bit more thought today!

I considered using a road or pathway, but I gravitated as I often do down to the nature reserve and of course the canal fits the bill nicely.
