Down but not out in Paris

I went to see the Jeff Koons Retrospective at the Pompidou Centre in Paris. It was a very shiny exhibition altogether, tempered by some shiny X-rated stuff.
Nothing touched the sides much apart from the x-rated room and that was for all the wrong reasons. Enough already!
M. Koons - a magpie of the first order. Good luck to him but it's not for me. The message hasn't changed much since he first started making art in 1970s. We are all consumers of the highest order. Plus ca change? Andy Warhol had that thought too.
