Today I made this made to measure Venetian blind fit into the huge window.

I also hung a fine voille as I will have the blinds up most of the time.

I feel proud of myself for just doing it and getting it perfect.

It replaces a pair of the most awful red velvet curtains. They were huge and bulky.

Removing them and setting this blind in the window now makes my upstairs hall look huge.

I also hung all the curtains upstairs after cleaning the windows.
