What a mistake I made! I thought I had worked out the tide times so that it would be high tide, but I was so wrong.

Not only was the mud revealed but the wind was bitter and the rain so cold.  The dogs really enjoyed the walk though, the cold didn't bother them.  In a strange way I enjoyed it too, their mood was infectious.

I treated myself to some hot soup and a mug of chocolate at the Storehouse on the way home. A blazing fire greeted me when we got home, husbands can be useful sometimes!
