No, dirty windows.

The little bird from the other day is now trying to get into the house. Spends much of the day fluttering from window to window. Glad I haven't cleaned the windows recently as it is making quite a mess with its greasy little feathers. It taps the window with its beak then flutters about a bit.

Spookily today, my dad and I were talking about house alarms and how we have both had to replace the batteries recently. During our conversation the car alarm went off. For apparently no reason.
