Heavenly

Well, I promised more variation, and here we are. Not the best shot in the world, not taken on the best mobile phone in the world either, but I think it captures a certain atmosphere; Saint Etienne, at Leamington Spa Assembly. This is Sarah, mainly because shy Bob and Pete were (as ever) behind the keyboards and racks. Great to see Debsey with them. Supported by Stereo Venus, feat. Rumer. Saint Etienne were originally signed to Heavenly Records, hence the title. Oh for the day when I might take a decent camera to a gig, and feel secure doing it. StEt have still got the ambience, the presence, the spell-binding ability that they had 20 years ago.
