Painting The Forth (Goodwill) Bridge

There's a saying in the UK for tasks that take so long to complete, that once finished, they need to be started all over again; 'Painting The Forth Bridge'. Scotland's Forth Bridge was constantly being repainted and gave rise to the saying.

Each time I cross Brisbane's Goodwill Bridge there are men dangling underneath it with giant pots of paint. That should keep them in work for a good few years!
