Diversion

The road is closed while they rebuild the ruined, potholed verges. Probably irritating a number of commuters (and residents) who need to find somewhere else to park. Of course, once done they'll all park up the kerb again until the verges are ruined once more and another three weeks' repair has to be scheduled in.
