After the fun(eral)

The hard work begins!
I and my sons spent the day with our noses filled with dust and our fingers fighting  cobwebs as we started the massive task of sorting through The Old Man's library. It's a triage operation: keep/sell/donate to charity. The last category will be by far the largest as our time and space are limited. But it's a learning exercise too: the books cover an enormous range of dates and subjects and we all found ourselves making new discoveries as we researched the more unusual and  curious volumes. The Old Man would have enjoyed the process too since many of his books had not seen the light of day for quite some time.
It's good to think of them being released back into circulation.


Thank you to all who have left such encouraging comments. I'm sure you will understand why  I am unable to spend  much time returning them.
