An Army of Colourful Ants

Today C and I walked to Ste Christina, which is a little village a few miles from where we are staying in the Italian Dolomites.  Here we met up with C's brother and his girlfriend, who are staying in a town about 30 minutes drive from where we are, but in the other direction.  
They are also supposed to be skiiing, but his girlfriend had to see the doctor yesterday as she has developed bronchitis, so we all met up for lunch. 
This photo is taken from the footpath that we walked along, and is where two ski runs meet at in the village. Skiers are then transported back to the lifts by means of a horizontal moving pavement, and I thought they looked really funny from a distance - just like an army of colourful ants marching off after something tasty.
