Rotten day.  No chance of a decent blip.  luckily I'd bought a remote yesterday and had gone to my mums to pick up my old tripod from the loft.  Must be 25 years since it last saw daylight.  It took a bit of spit and polish but it's OK.
Desperate to give them a go I took a few tests blips on the way home.
Quite pleased with first results....
