David Hockney-esque

Spent a fab afternoon doing art with a class of lower juniors. We are looking at the work of David Hockney and started off with ipads taking pictures with focal points and interest.

This week we used the images to make 'grid' style pictures. The one above was created by an eight year old girl - fab isn't it?

Next week we are using iPads and an art package to try to recreate his new iPad work, before going to Saltmills to see his new exhibition. Very exciting stuff!

(At least, I'm really enjoying teaching it!) :)
