Music

I'm tired but also very amazed. We were seated in the very front row!!! Idil Biret was outstanding and so was everyone in the orchestra. These days we are so caught up with computer-generated music that we forget to stop and appreciate the hard work these people put into their music. Now I wish I never stopped playing the piano. I'm pretty sure the average age of the audience was 85 and someone famous which I do not know of (but my mother knew) was sitting next to me. Plus everyone was dress formally, so I didn't really fit in with my sweatshirt and boots but I guess it wouldn't have been comfortable sitting for 2 hours in anything else. All in all, it was amazing, even though I might have nearly fallen asleep 2 times. I blame my sleepiness on school.
