Wet & windy - day 2

Seems like one of those weeks where every time I go out with guests the weather takes a turn for the worse. Having checked the weather forecast - East looked the best bet, so we headed out towards Ullswater, stopping for a bit at Dowthwaite head, but after about 10 minutes, the rain came in and the temperature plummeted.

We drove to Matterdale church for a while, enjoying the dry, but still pretty cold. 

I liked the slightly creepy look of the hymn board lying on a pew, with the numbers in the background.
