How special is that?

I never expected to use a street sign in my daily blips... guess there's a first for everything. Kaylee is doing an autobiography project in class, using each chapter as a street in the "road map of life" (cute right, we thought of that ourselves).

Each chapter was chosen from a listing of milestone moments, we named them after streets... BIRTHDAY Way, BFF4EVER Ave, FUTURE St. In working up the index page, I thought this street should be included. Lucky for us, it's only about a 1/4 mile up the road, making it easy to photograph.

BJ's family has strong roots here in Mercer. His ancestors have namesake streets on both sides of his family. It's just one more reason why I love the history of this small town.
