It appears as though they worked
Up on the roof are the remains of the ice boobies. For those of you who don't know, I filled old nylons with ice-melt stuff and threw them up on the roof. Actually my husband threw them up on the roof. I have no pitching arm or, depth perception. Ok my peripheral vision is non existent too. Basicly I look pretty in a skirt and high heels. Yes people we all have our place in the food chain. But
I digress
These empty nylon stockings are now stuck up on the roof. Do you think people go by my house see them and say "whew! What a party that had to have been". Or do you think they say" why is her laundry hanging on the roof?
Ok I just thought of something really dirty........ok I'll keep it as an inside thing.
So, I am wondering did they work? Or were they just something to make me feel better? I don't care they were hysterical!
Today I met my sister Laurie for a drink. She moved to New Hampshire a year or two ago. I miss her. so it was fun to sit with an adult beverage and visit. I looked out the windows and saw the ocean and the sky and breathed deep and blew it out. It's the first time I breathed all day.
Tonight I watched Ingrid compete in a Westbrook's got talent competition. Westbrook is the town she lives in. Now next Friday our band is competing in: " Maine's got Talent" I can't wait.
Tomorrow I am going to take Dad to the doctor, and then go out with my friend Liz. A good time will be had by all.
I just asked Shelly and Ingrid ( my bandmates) if we were going to go see 50 shades of grey. Then it occurred to me. Aside from the appeal of hot buttered popcorn and butterfingers. ( yes eaten together.......share my joy) watching a younger woman with naked perfect body get tied up and whipped was not my idea of a good time.
That was hard to decide. The popcorn and butterfingers Are hard to give up.
So tomorrow I will grab the roof rake and scrape the roof. Hopefully the old nylons will come down and the neighbors will have nothing else to talk about.
Until my next adventure.........
G'day Downunder and sweet dreams to the north.
