Storm

It's been a wild nor'westery day, with roaring wind and lashing showers. This morning there were shafts of sunshine and glorious rainbows so big I couldn't capture more than about a third of their expanse in a frame.

The wind is not cold. I didn't need a jacket to go outside. My washing almost dried in an hour or so between showers.

Somewhere among the powerful gusts that shook the house was a small earthquake not far off, but it was lost in the wind.
