Oh Dear! And sorry about the focus!

Don't do "selfies" as a rule, but this is the only way of revealing what happened to me today. This is taken in the A&E Dept of Queen's Medical Centre this morning. I had woken up at 6am with my left eye completely closed, and the side of my face painful and very swollen. Seems I have an eye infection, that it is potentially serious , and that we did the right thing to go to A&E.
So Is being treated with regular ice-bags to bring down the swelling, and a drugs cocktail of steroids, antibiotics and Piriton. I am to go back if there is no improvement, as there is a risk of serious eye damage if it persists.
Not the best of days! In good hands. Fingers crossed.
PS icing has helped and the eye is now partially open, hence I can see (just) to type.
