Rosehaugh Estate
Such a lovely Spring morning.
The birds were singing and we spotted a couple of beautiful pheasants that had escaped the shoots.
Daffodils were just beginning to bloom and the snowdrops were still in evidence.
There was some forestry work going on but there was no-one else around.
The "KEEP dogs on lead" notices had been removed, Poppy and Freddie obviously were celebrating this by chasing round and round this lovely, empty field, and Bud was busy hurtling after his beloved ball.
Sheila and I felt very privileged to be able to spend such a gorgeous morning wandering around this very quiet, peaceful and beautiful place in all its faded glory. I do fear for the "faded glory" aspect as there are rumours around about big plans to bring more visitors and guests to the Estate. But perhaps that is all it is, just rumours.
