Looking at the moon

Kerr had his friend S's 3rd birthday party this afternoon at a local leisure centre. Lots of his friends were there and they all had a great time, despite the recreation hall with the bouncy castle being 30 degrees with no air conditioning! Lots of water was consumed by lots of sweaty toddlers.

We then went straight to my brother's house for his birthday BBQ. It was good to catch up with all the family and Fiona's family too and was lovely sitting out in the sun.

Around 8pm I went out to the back garden to find Kerr and Lucy lying in Emily's ball pool, looking up at the moon. Right enough, the moon was just coming out. We headed home shortly after that with an exhausted Kerr.
