Walking on Sunshine

The first thing I did today was to dash outside and drink a long draught of Orcadian sunshine.  I even had a second draught just after noon.  Everyone through in Stromness was a lot perkier because there was even ‘warmth’ in the sun.  I even had the energy to call our retired minister, make an appointment at the physio for my dance injury, strip the hinges off the old doors and renew the beds of the girls in the Sheeps’ Hoose.  I even hung out the washing!! 

Just before I peaked I phoned the Kirk’s insurers and called their bluff as they gave the immediate go-ahead for repairs.  It’s now time for a lie down.
