We went on a huge long hike today up to some caves on the mountain with engravings from the Assyrian Empire. They date back to Sennacherib's reign in 720B.C. It's so amazing to see them. With so much history being destroyed in this country these engravings are even more precious than before.

The children always love playing in caves and are like mountain goats in how fast they climb to the top!
