Sea View
A beautiful sunny day today. Husband and I have been gathering in the sheep at the farm where we manage the livestock. It was lovely to not even think about waterproofs. I took quite a few pictures and really struggled to decide between this one and another that showed a lot of heather moorland but with wonderful patterns from all the different browns and oranges. In the end the sea view with my three girls Shaw, Breagh and Pip won! The dogs enjoyed getting out on a gather and are tired now.
Its been fantastic hearing the birds singing and seeing and hearing the Skylarks out the hill and on our way to the other farm I saw a flock of 9 lapwings who have become quite rare here. Also whilst out in the garden a bumble bee flew past!
After we came home I had a late lunch then spent some time tidying up the "garden" a bit and also mucked out the inside of the pick up. Its amazing what you can find in it and how disgusting it can get.
I have now hoovered the house and cleaned the bathroom and have collapsed with a cup of tea after a little to much spring cleaning enthusiasm after spending 4 hours on the hill gathering!!
9c 3mph W breeze. Lovely warm sunny day. A touch of frost this morning.
