Heave-ho..oops!

Today I went to my favourite Addo Elephant National Park. We had some wonderful sightings - mainly of elephants. On two occasions we were faced with large elephant herds walking towards us in the road..and we just had to sit quietly and wait for them to pass the car - very closely, almost touching!
As usual I had a difficult choice for my blip, but opted for this one showing amazing elephant behavior. This baby was struggling to get out of the waterhole until pushed from behind by an older elephant.
The rather undignified landing was overlooked as it soon righted itself and joined the herd!!
