Derelict

Out strolling this afternoon between showers and saw this old gateway, totally unused and being covered with ivy and blackberries. It must, at one time, have been a well used entrance as behind is a large house (now flats) that would possibly have belonged to one of Barnstaple's Merchants or even part of the original  Priory.  Need to investigate further.....
