Chemistry Rocks

I spent an hour or so at placement today categorising a pile of rocks! I've been teaching some second years about different types of rock - igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic - which I didn't know much about myself beforehand, so if anything this placement has taught me a lot about geology. The rest of the department seem to hate this topic, but I've quite enjoyed it and the kids seem to have as well.
